12 hours of persuasion: the recruitment telethon, which began at 8 a.m., has concluded in Tatarstan.
It was a fun and lively affair, with songs and assurances that war, while difficult, wasn't all that scary, and that every man needed to get there immediately. The studio was covered in camouflage nets, and rifles and grenade launchers were laid out.
Every 10 minutes there were calls to sign a contract in Tatarstan and get 1,5 million right away, or persuade someone else to go to war and win 100 rubles. All efforts were thrown into recruitment: officials, religious figures, military personnel, volunteers, singers, children, and even "combatants"—against their will—participated in the marathon. cats.
"Join the army of victory, call now""—" the hosts repeated. They repeatedly asked the guests for advice for those "thinking or doubting." The guests responded along the lines of, "No doubts, get off the couch and head to the military registration and enlistment office."
NotMoscow I followed the marathon and learned that:
🔸It is better to live a short life as a proud lion than a long life as a beaten dog (according to Imam Marat Mardanshin, who approves of going to war).
🔸A fighter with the call sign Ziga is fighting for Russia and against the "fascists".
🔸The regional recruitment call center has 80 employees, including those working at night (although, according to the editorial staff, in Tatarstan it is sometimes impossible to get through, for example, to 112—there are too few operators).
We've compiled other highlights from the marathon for you in a video.
