The Krasnodar Territory's Ministry of Emergency Situations underestimated the size of the fire near Novorossiysk.

Ecologists projected onto the terrain images of the consequences of the fire in the area of the Durso farm and the Sukha Shchel tract, taken from the air and published press service of the governor of Krasnodar Krai.
According to the Civil Initiative, at least 94 hectares of juniper forests burned. In reality, the damage is even greater, as the northern slope of Mount Oryol and the gorges, which were also affected by the fire, are not visible in the photo.
At the same time, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory заявилоthat the burnt area was 62 hectares.
"NeMoskva" wrote about the fact that in Novorossiysk a state of emergency was introduced due to a forest fire.
