"You're growing up a loser": A juvenile affairs inspector in Krasnoyarsk used humiliation to force a child to incriminate himself.

To the parents of 12-year-old Matvey had to They reported the systematic beating of their child by neighboring children. On July 24, a juvenile affairs inspector summoned the boy and his father. The woman harshly stated that the family had made the whole story up and that no one had beaten Matvey. She also claimed that she had a video of the boy smoking and drinking beer and threatened to prosecute him.

At one point, Matvey's father had to leave to take his other son. And then, judging by the audio recording, the inspector began to humiliate the boy even more:

"Either you and your family move out so we won't bother you. Or you live by our rules <> Don't shit where you walk. I told you that last time. I don't consider you a person, I don't respect you... I don't care, of course. You're just growing up a loser. I'll translate for you in your slang."

The boy was kept for eight hours for questioning, and they even searched his phone. When the boy's father returned, it was discovered that his son had written a statement. In it, he took responsibility for the beating, claiming he had insulted his attackers and had asked for trouble. The father refused to sign the statement.
