"Two Shots Left": an awkward pause, an extreme moment, a half-hearted tragedy, anguish, and everyday irony. And also a sea of tears and an ocean of love, of course.

Today, together with “Voice from the Window of Non-Moscow”, we are getting to know some of the projects of the poet, musician and author from St. Petersburg Cyril UstinovaBy the way, he was born and raised in Ryazan.

Kirill has been working in the music industry for almost 12 years, during which time he has organized over 80 solo concerts and over 120 festivals and house concerts, produced releases, and supported both aspiring and professional musicians. He also actively collaborates with independent and niche artists and bands.

🎧 "Two frames left"— a musical group that represents the bulk of Ustinov's musical potential. Along with the frontman and vocalist, the band currently includes a lead guitarist. Oleg Morozov, bass guitarist Arseny Losev and the drummer Igor Zuyev.

The band's concept is based on everyday parables, observations of modern man, and interpretations of timeless literary themes in a contemporary format. The stories that form the basis of the songs are familiar to everyone—they've happened to us in the past, they exist in the present, and they will definitely happen in the future. Therefore, they are relatable and understandable to everyone.

To get acquainted, we recommend listening to the 2023 album "Remember and Love." And also the February joint release of the bands "Ostalos Dva Kadra" and "Egor Ne Pomnyu"—the EP "Amen." Because "there's a time to create gestalts, and a time to close them."

🎧 Music of the Regions — a podcast about contemporary underground musicians from Russia. Now you can hear what it sounds like. Permian, Izhevsk, Ufa, Orenburg, Samara, Kazan, Kirov, Yoshkar-Ola and more than a dozen other cities. It's subjective in places, but it's lively, warm, and homely.

🎧 "Closer"— a charity music festival that bridges the gap. “We want people to remember today, when everyone is divided and disconnected, that man is a friend to man,” the organizing team assures. "Let only hope and love grow on this tiny glass ball we call Earth. We turn to the only clear and accessible medium—music." The festival helps raise funds to help those in need.
