He also advertised in grocery stores there are "skrepyshi" with the faces of Vladimir Putin, Patriarch Kirill and a riot police officer.

The artist has not yet commented on his new work.

Revda authorities tried to remove the Lenin monument back in 2019, but at that time the city broke out protests supported by communists and Cossacks.

This week, dismantling of the monument finally began. But the removal is said to be temporary. According to authorities, the monument is in poor condition and will be restored at a cost of five million rubles.
