Lenin, Stalin, and Christ: The acting head of the Vologda region shared new footage from his reception room.
Last week, Georgy Filimonov showed A painting of Stalin shaking his hand. It hangs in the acting governor's reception room, alongside portraits of Beria, Dzerzhinsky, Mao Zedong, and Putin.
Today Filimonov опубликовал A new video featuring the interior of the hallway leading to the reception area. On one wall hang portraits of Georgy Zhukov, Tsarist General Mikhail Skobelev, Felix Dzerzhinsky, Vladimir Lenin, and a banner with the face of Christ. On the opposite wall is a reproduction of Alexander Gerasimov's famous painting "Stalin and Voroshilov in the Kremlin."
It's possible that Georgy Filimonov is simply trying to attract attention ahead of election day: his previous video was shared across federal media outlets, drawing criticism from some and approval from others.
"What's going on in the Vologda region governor's head? It's just an abstraction, nothing but an abstraction," wrote the Telegram channel "Nezygar."
“Abstraction is what you, gentlemen, answered "I have knowledge, experience, and results, based, among other things, on a reasoned scientific understanding of reality, based on an understanding of the relevance of history lessons (using the best practices of the past) in combination with the latest modern management techniques," Filimonov responded.
Meanwhile, residents of the Vologda region are complaining in the comments about problems with the provision of subsidized medications and the deplorable state of kindergartens.
