Putin held a meeting on the "situation" in three border regions. To recall their names, he consulted the papers.
NeMoscow has compiled the key points from the meeting, which was held via video link:
First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov reported to Putin that 115 people have been resettled from border regions. Another 20 have decided not to leave their homes. According to Acting Governor of the Kursk Region Alexei Smirnov, 130 residents have left eight border districts.
🔸Residents of the Kursk region who fled the combat zone will receive 15 rubles each. The budget has allocated 858 million rubles in total to assist people who have lost property.
🔸An additional 1,9 billion rubles will be allocated for the Ministry of Emergency Situations. At the same time, a decision has been made to create a centralized regional emergency service in the Kursk Region.
🔸Some schoolchildren who left the Kursk region will study remotely. Belgorod authorities plan to send children from the border region to other regions for schooling.
Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov estimated damage to agricultural enterprises affected by Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks at three billion rubles. Businesses have suffered another billion rubles in damage. The situation, he said, remains difficult: 19 civilians were injured in the past week alone, access to 35 settlements is currently blocked, and four thousand residents of the region have fled their homes.
🔸Belgorod and Bryansk governors asked Putin for money to support self-defense regiments.
Gladkov also asked Putin for help with mobile boiler stations in border areas. Apparently, the "situation" won't improve by winter.
