Young people to the villages! A Federation Council senator called on young people to move out of cities.

Village life needs to be popularized among young people, says the senator from Yaroslavl region Natalia Kosikhina. She wants not only those from villages to return home after studying, but also young people from big cities to flock to the Russian hinterland.
«I believe that our guys need to consider the issue of a possible move with all seriousness.”- said Senator.
According to Kosikhina, the media and popular bloggers should attract young people to villages and talk about the benefits of rural life. She suggested offering virtual and in-person tours for those who "have decided to experience village life." This "will help young people overcome various stereotypes and false beliefs."
The relocation of a large number of young people "will have a beneficial effect on the development of rural areas and small towns," the senator believes. Kosikhina herself has never lived in a village.
Kosikhina did not say whether the state would sponsor the move.
Earlier in State Duma proposed relocate to abandoned villages of people in need of housing.
