In total, five pillars bearing photographs of the victims were erected at Kashtak, the site of the mass execution of repressed people. In addition to their names, their professions and the dates of execution are listed.

«This is the first attempt to make this place meaningful for visitors. So that it's not a place for some unknown number of repressed people, but for people with their own fate, their own history. Here are those who were repressed back in the 20s, such as the renowned scholar and editor of "Sibirskaya Zhizn" Alexander Andrianov, as well as those who were repressed during the Great Terror. There are 30 names in total."" said Vasily Khanevich, a senior employee of the NKVD Investigative Prison Museum.

In 2003, a nine-meter-tall memorial cross was unveiled on Mount Kashtak. At its foot is a granite slab bearing the inscription "Eternal memory to the innocently murdered". 

About nine thousand people were shot in the ravines of Tomsk's Kashtak. Among them was the poet Nikolay Klyuev, philosopher Gustav Shpet, princes Alexander Golitsyn и Mikhail Dolgorukov and the princess Olga Urusova.
