This is the amount that will cost Russians to support Putin and the presidential administration in 2025, Verstka noted.

This is a quarter more than in 2024, despite the fact that at the end of last year, parliament planned to increase spending on Putin and the Presidential Executive Office by only 0,02%.

This amount is comparable to the annual budget of a Russian regional center. For example, Saratov's budget in 2024 was approximately 33 billion rubles, while Stavropol's was only approximately 17 billion rubles.

The growth in spending on Putin and the Presidential Executive Office in 2025 could exceed the projected inflation rate (around 4,8%) by five times.
