"5 liters of blood and 48 blows": The cause of Rifat Dautov's death has been revealed.

Family buried Rifat in February, but he is still a defendant in the case of “mass riots” in Baimak.

Dautov's relatives, who disagreed with the findings of the Ministry of Health's forensic expert, insisted on an independent examination. Bashkortostan Mikhail Lapin, who described numerous bruises, abrasions and skin lesions, but indicated that they were not the cause of death.

«Taking into account the thickness of the hematomas, the volume of internal blood loss should be at least 5,19 liters"," the independent expert concluded. He also noted that there were "at least 48" blows, and the total area affected was "at least 30% of the body's surface."

“Not less” – because the study was conducted using photographs, and it was not possible to determine the exact number of blows – the blood splatter had merged into one continuous bruise.

He was apparently picked up by Rosgvardiya officers (at least, that's the unit sent to detain him). They took him to Baimak, where he was handed over to the patrol officers who were transporting other detainees to Ufa in connection with the same case. Even during the transfer, it was obvious that the man was unwell (this was reported). testified, including other detainees).

— the independent expert clarified.
