The governor is "practically in shock": the head of the Belgorod temporary accommodation center has decided to go to war.

On words Vyacheslav Gladkov, this is the head of "one of the largest Belgorod temporary accommodation centers" Olga Vladimirovna.

"To be honest, I wasn't just surprised, I was practically in shock," Gladkov said. "I said, 'How can this be?' 'Vyacheslav Vladimirovich, the experience I gained working at the temporary accommodation center makes me realize that there needs to be a different development.' I never cease to be proud of our residents."

Olga, according to Gladkov, is ready to take up arms and defend the Belgorod region. 

The head of the Krasnogvardeisky district had previously joined Bars-Belgorod. Galina RudenkoShe became the first female official to join the formation.

The "Bars-Belgorod" volunteer unit began operating in the region on October 1. Its members include residents of the Belgorod region, territorial defense forces, officials, and entrepreneurs. For example, a regional Duma deputy and the political officer of the Valuysky self-defense battalion have already joined the unit. Sergei Popov, Deputy Governor Alexander Lorenz, head of the Gubkinsky district Michael Lobaznov and a deputy of the Belgorod City Council Eugene MikhailyukovAll of them will be assigned to duty and guard infrastructure facilities, and will perform combat missions.

Last week Vyacheslav Gladkov said about "major personnel problems" due to the mass departure of officials to war. 

According to the latest data, volunteers of the Bars-Belgorod detachment receive at least 80 thousand rubles monthly.
