"They closed the maternity hospital, bathhouses, and morgue": a city in Krasnoyarsk Krai is left without some infrastructure.
People Divnogorsk complained on the governor's Telegram channel Mikhail Kotyukov of Krasnoyarsk Krai: "The city is being destroyed. They closed the maternity hospital, closed the bathhouses, and are closing the morgue. What's next? They're already laughing. We can't be born, we can't wash, we can't die. We ask you to sort this out!".
According to a local newspaper, the only pathology department will be closed—the head is resigning, and a replacement has not been found. The deceased will be transported to Krasnoyarsk for examination and back for burial. Residents are wondering who will pay for this.
NGS24 reports that the maternity hospital hasn't been closed, but rather reduced to four beds. Most women go to Krasnoyarsk to give birth. The municipal bathhouse, which was the only source of hot water for some residents, was closed as unprofitable and put up for auction.
"There was a city where there was everything, and now there will be a village where there is nothing," "Why does our backwater town need so many deputies? Cut them and increase the pathologist's salary," "Close the hospital, cut the police, seal the administration building and hello, 'anarchy')))", residents write on social networks.
Divnogorsk has a population of approximately 30. The city is located on the banks of the Yenisei River, 40 km by road from Krasnoyarsk. It is home to a hydroelectric power station and several industrial enterprises.
Meanwhile, the Divnogorsk administration is preoccupied with somewhat different issues. By decorating the official social media pages with the letter "Z," officials are instilling patriotism in children, encouraging residents to go to war and donate money to help the front.
