"Cross my heart!" NATO military bases appearing in Finland will receive a fitting rebuff – Cossacks will march along the border with prayers.

How to сообщает Saint Petersburg Metropolitanate, the Cossacks intend to march along the entire border line, the length of which is 1091 km.
They carry with them a replica of the Godenovsky Cross, considered one of the most sacred relics in Russia. According to legend, this cross appeared in the 15th century. Its copy was consecrated eight years ago in the church at the site of the execution of the royal family in Yekaterinburg. Since then, the Cossacks have traveled with her throughout Russia, neighboring countries, and beyond. They even marched along the front line in the "Northern Military District" zone.
"The cross is an invincible weapon," the rector of the church in St. Petersburg admonished the Cossacks, from where they set out for the Finnish border. "It is God's help. But it must be earned through repentance."
Finland began cooperating with NATO after Russia unleashed a full-scale war in Ukraine. In July of this year, the country's authorities allowed the American military to station forces at 15 military installations, including four airbases, a military port, and military equipment depots located along the routes leading to the Russian border.
