More than 100 residents of Pervouralsk held a spontaneous rally and resolved the children's hospital's operating issues within a day.
The impromptu rally was triggered by a notice posted at the entrance to a children's clinic on the western outskirts. Pervouralsk — in the microdistrict Dinas. It read, that major renovations will begin in the building on December 1st, so until the end of next year children will be admitted to a different address - in the northern part of the city (eight kilometers away).
Unfortunately, the clinic's closure coincided with the cancellation of the bus route that provided direct access to the hospital. Now, parents will have to take a taxi or take public transportation with two transfers.
Today, about 100 residents gathered outside the children's clinic and demanded that its major renovation be carried out in stages, without affecting its operations.
«We and our children have become hostages of bureaucracy"," the people stated in their video message to the governor and the regional minister of health.
After the scandal was reported by local media, the head doctor Alexander Rozhin call information about the closure of the clinic was “fake” and assured that major repairs cost 147 million rubles will be carried out in stages, “floor by floor, no relocation or closure will be required.”
Same confirmed in the Ministry of Health.
We remind you that residents of the regions are increasingly speaking out against the closure of social facilities. At the end of last week alone, there were at least three such cases. For example, in Perm village of Vaskino protested against the closure of the school and kindergarten, Kostroma — against the closure of the music school in Nizhny Novgorod in the village of Sovkhozny — against the closure of the cultural center.
