Krasnodar deputies approved the General Plan despite protests.

Only four people out of 40 voted against.

"The government has consistently and repeatedly demonstrated its position, which, unfortunately, is far removed from the interests of many residents of our city."- commented a deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation explained the situation Alexander Safronov, noting that he and his fellow party members voted against it.

According to Safronov, no one could explain to him how the existing functional zones had changed: for example, in the green zone Yubileiny microdistrict a public-business "insert" emerged.

"By the way, the mayor never came to the residents of the neighborhood—but now I doubt that the people there are waiting for him anymore." added the MP.

"NeMoskva" wrote that city residents protested against the adoption of the General Plan. They recorded numerous appeals to Putin, Bastrykin and local authorities.

The main problems were the overall lack of development of the project, as well as the mass conversion of land from the category of individual housing construction to agricultural land and the reduction of green spaces.

Particularly active protested Residents of the Yubileiny microdistrict of Krasnodar: the Rozhdestvenskaya embankment, where a green space was previously planned, was transferred for "religious use"—for the construction of a church and other buildings of the Russian Orthodox Church.
People were also outraged by the organization of the public hearings: they were only given a week, people were not provided with the necessary information, and familiarization with documents often took place in completely inappropriate places - right up to the bus stop, as it was in the village of Krasnodar.
