As a result, Maslakova received 17 votes, and the current mayor Evgeny Pistsov, who has ruled the city since 2011, has only 6.

After Maslakova resigns, a new competition for the post of head of Berezovsky will have to be held. Until then, Yevgeny Pistsov will remain mayor.
