Four people were killed and 88 were injured in an attack on a boarding school in Sudzha.
These are the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There notethat four of those rescued are in serious condition.
The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky saidthat Russian troops attacked a building containing civilians who were preparing to evacuate
"This is a state devoid of civilization. And this is an evil that will not end on its own." - he wrote.
There are still no official statements from the Russian authorities.
Z-bloggers claim that the building was shelled by Ukrainian troops.
Pro-government Telegram channels Shot and Mash report that the building has indeed been destroyed, with around 100 people trapped under the rubble. They previously claimed dozens of dead, but that information has since been removed.
The Telegram channel "Sudzha Rodnaya" is publishing a stream of condolences from various regions of Russia.
