Hello, you're an alcoholic! A Nizhny Novgorod resident was registered with a drug treatment center after forging his signature.

An alcoholic himself Sergey Komarov from Knyaginino I didn't suspect this for 5 years.

The man was referred for a medical examination, but the drug treatment center's collection of documents stalled. It turned out that in 2018, he had been registered as a chronic alcoholic, and Komarov had even allegedly signed a consent form for treatment with antipsychotics. The drug treatment specialist's office didn't answer his questions, only reminding him of his obligation to report to the center for the next two years.

"I wasn't addicted to alcohol. I haven't had a drink for three years now. I used to drink, but like everyone else. I was never an alcoholic."- рассказал A man to a journalist.

He saw a signature on the consent form for treatment in the medical record and realized it wasn't his. A handwriting analysis confirmed the signature was forged.

Komarov took the expert's report to the head physician, but he dismissed the document. The prosecutor's office refused to open a criminal case due to the statute of limitations. They also refused to remove him from the dispensary register.

Psychiatrist-narcologist Tatyana Posokhin She told the local TV channel's film crew that all actions were within the law.

The doctor who diagnosed Komarov stated that the patient had been on a long drinking binge, and that the signature was not forged, but simply written in an inadequate state.

Komarov himself claims that on the day of his diagnosis he was not even in the city.

The man has been trying to cope with this absurd situation since 2023. He intends to finally get himself removed from the drug treatment center where he is now forced to report.

However, there are worse situations. For example, that of a pensioner from Samara. recognized  He was dead, and for five years now he's been trying to prove to every authority that he's alive. Meanwhile, he couldn't collect his pension, go to the clinic, or drive his car.
