"A campaign to create distrust in the leadership of the Kursk region": Ural journalist Yevgeny Anisimov detained

The author of the YouTube channel "Beautiful Russia" is involved in a criminal case for distributing extremist materials. He is currently undergoing investigation, his lawyer told It's My City. TASS, citing security officials, writes that "Anisimov could have been involved in the Ukrainian Center for Informed Information and PsyOps' campaign to create distrust in the Kursk region leadership," and a criminal case was opened against him for insulting security forces and citizens of Central Asia.

Searches are also being conducted at the home of the director of the Ural media project "Ermak Media" Nikolai Ermakov. He is involved in Anisimov's criminal case. "as the person who provided him with accreditation for journalistic activities", media reports.

Anisimov is already a defendant in another criminal case – for slander and dissemination of family secrets – due to two videos dedicated to a former member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
