The Ministry has the "deepest respect" for the memory of the soldiers who died in the battles for the Kursk region and "other regions of the country," said the Assistant Minister of Transport. Russia Anastasia Rubanova.
«The feat of Russian military personnel, their courage and self-sacrifice deserve the highest forms of recognition, including the perpetuation of their names in various forms.", Rubanova explained.
According to her, naming ships and aircraft after “heroes” will emphasize the connection between generations and “the continuity of traditions of courage and loyalty to the Fatherland.”
