According to Rosstat, 500 large families in Russia live with incomes below the poverty line.

The poverty rate among families with many children is almost three times higher than the Russian average, which, according to Rosstat, stood at 7,2% at the end of 2024. These are people whose monthly incomes are below 16,848 rubles for the working-age population, 12,833 rubles for pensioners, and 15,293 rubles for children.
