A fuel oil spill in the Black Sea cost 2,5 billion rubles in fish losses.

About it сообщает Rosrybolovstvo. The agency conducted three studies to assess the extent of damage to the marine environment and aquatic biological resources. Rosrybolovstvo now intends to file claims against the tanker owners responsible for the oil spill. 

Tankers Volgoneft-239 and Volgoneft-212 suffered damage crash in the Kerch Strait on December 15. Both vessels were carrying a total of almost ten thousand tons of fuel oil. At sea, it poured out at least four thousand tons - they polluted tens of kilometers of the Black Sea coast.
