"It flooded me, and I froze." Fire victim Yuri Balabonkin purchased building materials for his house. Internet users helped with the money.

Former headman the village of Kumino, Yuryev-Polsky district, who was left homeless due to arson, purchased some building materials with funds sent by our readers.

"The crew arrived and set up the scaffolding. I brought in blocks, 160 of them. We'll be putting up the gable. The work will cost about 50 rubles."- рассказал about the progress of Balabonkin's work.

Balabonkin told a Regional Aspect correspondent about calls coming from residents of the regions:

"One woman offered double-glazed windows, another kitchen plumbing. A huge thank you to them, but they're both from the Moscow region, and freight shipping to Kumino would be more expensive than the cargo itself. I had to decline."

Balabonkin also filmed a video from his temporary shelter, where he survived four winters. He discussed heaven and hell—if they exist, they're not "out there," but here on earth. And they're created by people.

“And I was flooded, and I froze here when the lights went out, and I was dying from the heat,” — he said about the trailer from which he hopes to move to a new house.

Yuri Balabonkin asked subscribers with experience in building houses to come up with ideas for reducing the cost of roofing.

Internet users have collected so far 136 thousand rubles to Balabonkin's house.
