Authorities in Korolev, near Moscow, have demanded a halt to construction work near the Losiny Ostrov National Park, where residents are protesting.
Subscriber of "NeMoskva" сообщил, that police officers demanded that the work be stopped, citing a response from the city administration. QueenHowever, they previously reported that the builders allegedly had all the necessary permits.
Copies of documents shown to activists indicate that roadwork in the national park's security zone was planned to be completed by the end of November.
Activists also say they previously tried to obtain permits from the construction workers, but they claimed everything was kept at the mayor's office. City officials, in turn, said the documents should be requested at the site.
