New record for shutdowns

According to the "On the Line" project, 74 Russian regions reported mobile internet outages over the past 24 hours. This marks a new record for shutdowns after a brief respite.  

47 regions also reported restrictions on wired internet. 

"This is the first day we've seen such widespread problems with wired internet. It's worth noting that authorities in no region have yet commented on restrictions of this type, and regarding mobile internet restrictions, they're saying, 'It's for your safety,'" the Telegram channel's authors write.

This causes a lot of inconvenience for residents of the regions.

In Tatarstan, mobile internet has been jammed for 24 hours. Mobile service is also intermittent. The official no-fly zone alert was only in effect for a few hours (and has now been reissued).

In the Irkutsk region, residents forced travel to a neighboring town to buy bread: in the Usolsky district, the internet and communications have been down for a month after drones from a truck attacked military airfield.

As NeMoskva wrote, in the Rostov region decided to turn it off mobile Internet on a regular basis.

Udmurtia again today successfully attacked drones despite the fact that mobile internet has been jammed there for over two weeks. Residents outraged the fact that they cannot even receive warnings about “drone hazards” due to the lack of internet.
