So small, but already manuls
The kids are growing up! Mia and Snezhinka's kittens have grown bigger and have already acquired the Pallas's cat's signature stern gaze. This is because Pallas's cats, unlike domestic cats, have round pupils. This gives their eyes a special expressiveness and a "human" look.
A large addition to the Novosibirsk Zoo occurred in April: two females became mothers at once.
"Pallas' cats are among the rarest cats in the world, and every addition to their family is a real event for us," the staff say.
Last year, 12 kittens were born here; no other zoological park has achieved such results.
Kittens play, fight, and pester their mothers—just like any other child in the world. They have countless admirers who watch them grow up.
