Police have launched an investigation into a teacher in Nakhodka who struck a schoolboy. Since April, the family has been denied criminal prosecution.

The Primorsky police channel reported on the ongoing investigation. The suspect, a 57-year-old "local resident," was questioned. A criminal case has been opened for intentional infliction of minor bodily harm (Part 1 of Article 115 of the Russian Criminal Code). 

The police release did not mention that he was a teacher at the same school where the 15-year-old victim attended. On April 30, the teacher reprimanded the teenagers for using foul language and struck one of them in the bridge of the nose. As a result, the student was diagnosed with a concussion and minor injuries.

Despite the fact that the victim's mother immediately requested She went to the police and filed a report. The criminal case was postponed, and no reasons were given—only now have the police begun their investigation. According to the teenager's mother, investigators did not immediately seize the surveillance footage, resulting in the loss of some evidence. The teacher himself is a former police officer, ataman, head of a Cossack organization, and organizer of shooting competitions and Victory Day parades for kindergarten students. 

At the school, the victim's mother was told that they could not fire the teacher because the incident occurred outside the school.
