"There's no hope left that it will appear": Krasnoyarsk residents have been complaining about mobile internet for the third week.

For the sixteenth day, the Downdetector portal has been registering complaints about mobile internet in Krasnoyarsk Krai — on average, 44 complaints per hour and 1082 per day.

"There's been no mobile internet on Kirensky Street since July 26th," "In the Leninsky District, on Volgogradskaya and Michurin Streets, there's no mobile internet from two providers," "There's no hope of it ever coming back," "What should those who live outside the city do?" Krasnoyarsk residents complain on social media.

Meanwhile, NeMoskva readers from Krasnoyarsk note that internet service has stabilized in some areas of the city:

"I'm fine. And so are my loved ones," said reader Ekaterina. "After the internet outage lasted four days, everything has settled down. The Wi-Fi is working perfectly fine, too. I hope it stays that way."

As the “On the Line” project reports, in July, in the regions of Russia, 2099 Internet shutdowns. Officially, this is done to protect people from drones, but in fact, in some regions, there has never been a drone threat.

Amid mobile internet shutdowns this summer, demand for fixed-line internet increased by up to 20%, operators told Forbes. Major operators began offering discounts for the first few months of service to attract new subscribers, while regional players in some cases even raised prices in an attempt to cope with the surge in demand and the rising costs of connecting new customers.
