The Public Chamber wants to introduce a state order for “correct” stationery for schoolchildren

According to the activist, images and inscriptions should correspond to traditional Russian values ​​and the age of the students, and not be oriented toward foreign or fashionable but inappropriate images, such as labuba.

Rybalchenko notes that entrepreneurs producing school supplies featuring popular characters want to increase sales. However, in the case of writing instruments, he believes a government procurement could be considered.

According to current recommendations and standards approved by the Ministry of Education, the design of school spaces and goods should include state symbols, information about significant projects for children (for example, the Russian Children's and Youth Movement "Movement of the First"), and reflect Russia's achievements, historical figures, nature, and cultural traditions.
