A blank fence has been erected in place of the blocks that blocked the entrance to the Losiny Ostrov National Park

Defenders of the national park reported this to NeMoskva.
According to them, the metal fence was erected about an hour ago. Signs prohibiting pedestrians have also been installed.
Activists consider the fence illegal and have already complained to the traffic police, asking them to clear the road for walks in the park. The officer on duty promised to send inspectors to the scene, but doubted the fence would be removed.
“You probably know at what level all this is being done there,” he said over the phone (the editorial staff has a copy of the audio recording).
Concrete blocks blocking the access road to Losiny Ostrov were installed on September 3 as part of road construction. National park advocates claimed this would make it impossible for people with disabilities and young mothers with strollers to walk. Furthermore, the installation of the blocks blocked access for forest rangers, firefighters, and medical personnel.
The fight against the construction of a road through Losiny Ostrov National Park in Korolev, Moscow Region, has been ongoing since spring. Authorities claim the new route will solve traffic congestion. Residents fear it will harm the park's ecology.
