"I don't have money, but God gave me this ability": A 72-year-old Volgograd resident gives concerts in nursing homes.
Andrey Malaman set off on his fifth tour: he gives concerts in nursing homes, boarding schools and travels several hundred kilometers a day. As he told "Regional aspect"Andrei Nikolaevich used to only travel short distances, as he traveled on a motorcycle. Now he tours by car and can travel much further.
"Last year I traveled 9000 kilometers, gave 77 concerts. I left Volgograd, traveled through the Rostov region, then to Voronezh, Tula, Moscow. From there I went to Cherepovets, Vologda, Kostroma, Ryazan, Tambov, Samara, Saratov, and then back to Volgograd. I was on the road for almost a month and a half."

Previously, he chose the routes himself, but then fame came and he began to be invited to perform.
Andrey Malaman's project has no funding. He says he saves up for six months before touring, earning money from performances on the Volgograd embankment and other city events. Travel expenses are minimal: he stays overnight at the boarding schools where he performs or with friends. They also provide financial support.

Malaman performs popular songs and accompanies himself on guitar. He explains his creative passion as "an inner need to share what I have."

Andrey Malaman has been on the road for several days now: passed Saratov, now in his third day in Samara, is making a "radial" tour of the villages near the city. Next on the agenda Mari El, Kirov region, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Vologda.
