"In connection with the unfriendly actions of the United States and its allied states": Putin signed a decree allowing for the acceleration of the privatization of state property.

The sale of state property may be accelerated in order to “ensure the defense capability and security of the Russian Federation.”
As follows from the document signed by Putin decreeNow, no more than 10 working days are given to determine the market value of such property, and state registration and transfer of ownership rights occurs within a shorter timeframe.
The decree clarifies that these measures were taken “in connection with the unfriendly actions of the United States of America and foreign states aligned with it that are contrary to international law,” as well as “in order to protect the national interests of the Russian Federation.”
It is possible that the new rules will be applied to the privatization of companies, crossed into state ownership after the start of the war with Ukraine: over three and a half years, the Prosecutor General's Office has demanded the nationalization of approximately 500 companies, whose assets are worth approximately 3 trillion rubles. Along with the assets of Western companies that left the country due to sanctions, enterprises belonging to Russian entrepreneurs (they produce a wide range of products, from missiles to chocolate bars) are being transferred to state ownership. Subsequently, some assets transmitted into the hands of oligarchs loyal to the regime (among them Putin's friends - Arkady и Boris Rotenberg).
In one of the latest lawsuits, the Prosecutor General's Office demanded transfer the seaport to Russian ownership Tuapse.
