According to the islanders, the drying up of their reservoirs has already become a real disaster: they have nothing to water their gardens with, and their wells are empty. They could be left without water at all, including drinking water. The villagers have asked for a pumping station to be installed and the necessary amount of water to be pumped from the Volga into the lakes.
The reason why the prosecutor's office refused to investigate the case remains unknown.
