"Peace be with you." Six Soviet-era mosaics will be preserved in Volgograd.
Six mosaics in the Central and Traktorozavodsky districts have been recognized as designated cultural heritage sites. They can now be included in the register of monuments, preserved, and eventually restored.
According to documents from the State Inspectorate for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites, the examination was completed at the end of October.

The mosaics were created during the Soviet era by Mikhail Pyshta and Pavel Shardakov.
Mosaics began appearing on houses and factory buildings during the Soviet era to decorate the uniform "gray boxes."
