Murmansk employers will be fined for refusing to hire former participants in the war in Ukraine. 

The draft law, published on the Open Government website, noticed Arctic Observer. A 1% quota for employment of SVO participants at companies with more than 100 employees is proposed. 

Employers unwilling to hire military personnel are expected to be fined 20 to 30 rubles for officials and 50 to 100 rubles for legal entities. This initiative was put forward by the prosecutor. Murmansk area.

If adopted, both new regulations will come into force in July 2026.
