More than half of school cafeterias in the Altai Krai operate with violations. Similar problems are being reported across the country.

The local Rospotrebnadzor checked everything 1069 schools The region and found that 54% of kitchen facilities had operational violations. Most often, these include improper storage of cleaning products, lack of clear labeling of kitchen equipment, non-compliance with tableware requirements, and inadequate record keeping.

Rospotrebnadzor also received seven complaints from parents regarding the temperature of food served, the menu items, and the quality of dishwashing. Six of the seven complaints were confirmed.
