In the Arkhangelsk region, senior classes and a boarding school are being cut at a school in the village of Nikolsk. Authorities explained this by saying the country is in a difficult situation, "there's a war going on," and budget cuts are not being implemented by officials. 

"The reorganization began back in July. The parents of Nikolsk only heard about it a week ago. They urgently called a public council meeting, and most of the village attended.
