Why Labubu is being rescued in Tuva, why Zhirinovsky is going to Adler, and how Hennessy ended up in the sewer: #ShameReview from "NotMoscow"
🤯 Mayor Yakutsk Evgeniy Grigoriev poured Hennessy cognac, which he was given for New Year, down the drain. "I have a negative attitude toward alcohol. I don't drink myself and encourage others to give it up. However, even I get gifts of alcohol for various holidays. I won't give it to anyone or re-gift it." — Grigoriev said in front of the camera.
🤯 Russian Railways has launched trains with themed carriages titled "Russia. Zhirinovsky." The carriages were launched to commemorate the 80th birthday of the founder of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR). They will run on the following routes: Moscow – Adler и Vladivostok – Moscow.

The outside of the carriages is covered with a profile Zhirinovsky and his autograph, with his photographs and quotes inside. The dining car menu includes the politician's favorite dishes: lagman, Dungan noodles, Uzbek pilaf with chicken, cottage cheese casserole with sour cream, and coffee with condensed milk.
🤯 Online cinemas have censored the film "Burnt by the Sun" Nikita Mikhalkov, removing about three minutes of footage. Several episodes were cut, including the bathhouse scene where Nikita Mikhalkov's characters and Ingeborga Dapkunaite are shown half-naked, and their daughter, played by Nadezhda Mikhalkova, depicted completely naked. A sex scene and Dapkunaite's character's monologue, in which she talks about her suicide attempt, were also cut.

🤯 Russian film companies will make films dedicated to the "heroism" of North Korean soldiers who participated in battles against the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kursk region. This follows from the list of priority topics for state financial support for film production in 2026.
The State Center for Tuvan Culture will host a matinee, "The Adventures of Labubu at a Shepherd's Camp." Children will be asked to "rescue" Labubu, a Martian who accidentally landed on Earth and wants to see the symbol of the New Year, but Baba Yaga blocks her path.

Previously director of the House of Peoples of Russia Anna Polezhaeva stated that Labubu producers are destroying the country and supporting various destructive initiatives against Russia.
🤯 Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Andrey Svintsov commented on WhatsApp representatives' statement about restricting Russians' access to communications ahead of the holidays. "It's sad to hear that our citizens can't send each other funny pictures. This truly worries and upsets us. But the 'radical measures' taken by Roskomnadzor to restrict access are a necessary measure dictated by security requirements." — Svintsov noted.
