"It's heading for a fight." Sheremetyevo Airport is experiencing a transport and baggage crisis.

Some passengers have been unable to collect their luggage since last night, while others have been unable to board their flights. The airport's press service says this is due to the snowstorm that has blanketed the capital.
🔸Some passengers are waiting for flights that have already been rescheduled several times. For example, Aeroflot's evening flight Moscow - Vladivostok endured three times, now the departure is scheduled for noon. The board from Mineralnye Vody landed in the capital at around 21:30 p.m., but passengers were waiting for almost two hours they didn't release from the plane due to the "collapse at Sheremetyevo." The child became ill in the stuffy cabin.
At the airport, people are sleeping on the floor in cafeterias and aisles, trash containers are overflowing, and passengers are not provided with conditions for long waits;
🔸Flight in Guangzhou The flight was scheduled to depart at 19:20 PM but was delayed due to "unflyable weather": the departure time was rescheduled five times. At midnight, passengers were taken to the aircraft by bus but returned without further information. Passengers were not allowed to leave the airport building, threatening to cancel their tickets. The flight was rescheduled again for the evening. According to passengers, "a fight with the staff is threatening."
🔸Another group of people stuck at the airport are people who couldn't get their luggage. By midnight, in the baggage area was blocked 3000 passengers, who waited for their suitcases for 5-6 hours. People can't leave the baggage area because they won't be able to get back in.
The airport's press service stated that the cyclone was to blame: "There are delays in baggage handling and delivery to the belts on a number of flights due to equipment slowdowns in conditions of prolonged heavy snowfall." Employees have asked passengers to come for their luggage another day.
🔸Airport was closed The airport was open from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., then extended until 10:00 a.m. It is now accepting aircraft for landing again.
