But reality apparently wasn't impressive enough, so dozens of videos created using artificial intelligence have appeared online. These videos show snowdrifts up to nine stories high in Kamchatka, with children joyfully sliding down them on sleds. There's even a voiceover marveling at the height of the snowdrifts and celebrating the fact that the children finally have proper slides.

Even Western media outlets with hundreds of thousands of subscribers are using AI-powered videos on their accounts. For example, Roya News English has 416 subscribers. did a composite video of real and AI footage, similar to what can be found in account The Spanish media outlet abc_diario has 1,8 million subscribers. The fact that some of the videos were generated using AI is not noted anywhere.
