Three people died in the crash of a training plane in Orsk.

The dead are two cadets and an instructor, the city mayor reports. Artem Vorobyov. 

According to emergency services, the crashed Diamond plane belonged to St. Petersburg State University of Civil Aviation. The plane took off from the local airport at 7:33 a.m., and the emergency beacon was activated mid-flight.

Rescuers, medics and law enforcement are currently working at the scene.
