Traditional values ​​and skiing. The Orenburg Ministry of Sports will begin collaborating with the diocese.

Regional Minister of Sports Oleg Pankin и Metropolitan Peter signed a cooperation agreement while skiing in Kuvandyk.  

It is specified that the document is aimed at developing spiritual and moral education, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and improving work in the field of physical education and sports.

"As part of the joint activities, it is planned to hold sports tournaments, conferences, and seminars, and develop programs to increase the accessibility of sports among young people and adolescents, including those with disabilities."- сообщили in the press service of the regional government. 

In addition, the cooperation envisages "promoting traditional values ​​through the example of Orthodox athletes and strengthening inter-age, inter-ethnic, and inter-religious ties".

In recent years, the church has been actively trying to introduce “traditional values” into many areas of life: education, in urban architectural projects with building temples, in medicine and personal life - with a demand to ban abortions.
