A glass factory worker assembled six buses. They only move around the room.

Technical equipment adjuster Ilya Likhachev from Gus-Khrustalny studies the appearance, components, and manufactures buses. Only they are very small—at a 1:24 ratio compared to the real thing. 

Likhachev is also an excellent photographer: he photographs the bus assembly process, and the results are quite impressive. He's had a hobby since childhood: collecting model cars. 

"Eight years ago, I decided to make a replica of the bus whose prototype was running in our city. I chose a 1994 Mercedes-Benz O405N2. It's square and easier to manufacture. Then I used cardboard and instant noodle lids.», - рассказал he.

That model didn't survive, and he began making others from more durable materials. He figured everything out "by trial and error." Things didn't work out right away, but eventually, the small buses became replicas of the real thing. Building the interior was a particularly difficult task, but he eventually mastered it. The craftsman says his favorite subject in school was handicrafts, and these skills proved useful. 

Incidentally, he doesn't ride buses himself—he stopped after getting his license and buying his own car. He loves all of his models without exception; he has no favorites. He doesn't even know yet what the next model will be. For now, six of his buses regularly go on trips, each one a room apart.
