Reach the Kremlin. A board game featuring all the city's beauties and obstacles was created by an Astrakhan resident.

Margarita Nekozyreva created a board game in the format of a board game  Astrakhan HolidaysThe route in it runs along real streets with their sights and problems.

"Just like in real life, you might get stuck in a traffic jam on the Old Bridge, get lost in the identical panel buildings of the South-East-3 residential area, or miss your turn due to an accident on the Meat-Packing Bridge. If you encounter a pack of dogs in an old courtyard, you also lose your turn to your opponent."- says in the note.

The game board is a map with a unique route that will lead participants past architectural monuments, embankments, religious buildings, and even residential areas. The goal of the game is simple: reach the very center of the city, the Astrakhan Kremlin, before anyone else.

The obstacles in the game are as close as possible to real urban problems.

Work on the game spanned two years. Margarita first presented it during a training session for the "Not by Fish Alone" program in 2024 and received approval. Then began the search for a printing house that could print the first run without "selling a kidney." The result was a board game of "municipal significance," in which players can test their local history knowledge while simultaneously criticizing the city authorities for their inaction.

Board games are a popular pastime for many regional residents and a great field for activists of all stripes. For example, two Tomsk residents have created An authentic board game about the city's indigenous population, "Legends of the Tomsk Tatars." It's perfectly suitable for studying the history of an entire people. But Z-patriots aren't sleeping either: "NotMoscow" found The game "Dubble Z. Za Rossii" is available on the marketplace and is designed to instill patriotism in children.
