"They forced us to dig a ditch and use injections to kill animals." A farmer from Kozikhy talks about the slaughter of livestock.

Head of the Vodolay peasant farm Vladimir Gurkin In a video message, the farmer said that some cows in his herd had fallen ill after vaccination. The authorities have not responded to any of his questions.

According to the farmer, in February, the veterinary department approached him with a request to pay for a new vaccine produced in Vladimir. After the vaccination, 17 cows "began to become ill." The farmer did not receive documentation for the vaccine and does not know its name. Tests on the cows revealed they were infected with a "new, particularly dangerous disease." A state of emergency was then declared.

"Furthermore, the district administration began forcing us to dig a 350-meter ditch, purchase an injection to kill the animals, exterminate them, and transport them to a landfill."- рассказал he.

Gurkin's farm is six years old, with 600 purebred cows and 220 sheep. He says the farm strictly adheres to all veterinary regulations and maintains all vaccinations on time.

Previously farmers have suggestedthat an outbreak of a dangerous disease, foot-and-mouth disease, has occurred in the region. The Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Denis Pasler even had seen This was an act of enemy sabotage - supposedly the cattle were infected through imported feed.

Residents of Kozikhi, where livestock is being destroyed due to a dangerous infection, are actively are struggling for the right to keep their livestock by publicizing what was happening in the village. They filed a collective appeal to the prosecutor's office, the Investigative Committee, and the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.
