"There were offers, there were tricks." A resident of the Altai Territory was summoned to the military registration and enlistment office after a video of a flood.

Evgeny from the village of Bayevo received a summons to the military registration and enlistment office. In early April, he came police because of a video of him escaping from a flooded house with his wife and daughter. Video by Evgeny posted on his Instagram channel.

"After the flood, the police didn't ask any more questions. Now they've summoned me for a second medical examination. They also had questions, suggestions, tricks, and so on. I'll cover these points later. But the very proposal for a second medical examination isn't entirely legal," Evgeny told NeMoskva.

Evgeny says he was diagnosed with a "B" military fitness category on his military ID back in 2004. Since 2005, a repeat medical examination with this category is only possible with the individual's consent. He has now filed a request to be denied a medical examination. The military registration and enlistment office has accepted the request.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense is searching for new contract soldiers and is ready to accept even those with serious illnesses into the armed forces. For example, last February proposed accept into the army even those with syphilis.
