"Staff blocked the entrance!" Sochi National Park demanded additional fees from skiers. 

Sochi National Park introduced a fee in 250 rubles for entry to its territory since May 1. This has angered skiers and snowboarders, who have to pay for ski passes, which are quite expensive. 

Tourists assumed that the high price of a ski pass already included the entrance fee to the national park, where the cable cars to the ski slopes are located.

"I don't know how legal this is: National Park employees blocked the entrance to the Krasnaya Polyana resort and are demanding an entrance fee to ski."- was outraged one of the snowboarders. 

The same fee applies to entrance to the Rosa Khutor and Gazprom Polyana resorts. Teams of attendants at the upper cable car stations will check for passes. Tourists who do not have a receipt or lose one face a fine of 3 to 4 rubles. Some skiers pay up to 100 rubles for ski passes.

A typical walk in the Sochi mountains will cost 1500–2500 rubles. 

Previously in the national park explained introduction of a fee for caring for protected nature.

In the neighboring Tuapse At the end of April, after a drone attack, an oil spill occurred, the city was covered in black smoke, after which passed "Oil rain." Volunteers are trying to clean animals and birds, and authorities stated about safety and preparation for the tourist season.
