27 regions have been subjected to Ukrainian attacks since the beginning of May.

RBC counted The number of regions that have been attacked by drones and missiles since May 1, 2026. These include 27 regions: Leningrad, Vologda, Novgorod, Pskov, Tver, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan, Tula, Samara, Bryansk, Oryol, Lipetsk, Saratov, Kursk, Voronezh, Volgograd, Rostov, Astrakhan, Smolensk, Kaluga, Ulyanovsk regions, the Moscow region, Chuvashia, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Krasnodar Krai, and Adygea. Some regions have been attacked multiple times. 

Today, May 5, a major attack occurred in Cheboksary, resulting in two deaths. There are also fatalities in other regions, including the Kursk, Belgorod, and Moscow regions.
