Over three thousand residents overnight supported the demand for the resignation of the Karelia leadership.
Resignations Artur Parfenchikov и Irina Kolykhmatova demanded Residents of the republic posted the proposal in the "Karelia Speaks" group on VKontakte. Overnight, more than three thousand internet users supported the proposal.
The petition's author listed the complaints leveled against the mayors. He accused Kolymkhatova of disastrous road conditions and poor street cleaning, tree felling, the placement of industrial facilities next to residential areas, and, most importantly, the lack of transparency in government decisions and the ignoring of citizens' concerns.
Parfenchikov faced the following complaints: rising tariffs for housing and communal services with low quality of services, a crisis in the social sphere - low wages, a shortage of teachers and doctors, an outflow of population from the region, high mortality (only in the war with Ukraine died more than 1300 residents of Karelia), low birth rate and much more.
In the comments, people added their complaints about the work of the heads: the overcrowding of the oncology dispensary, where it is impossible to get an appointment, abandonment remote settlements without food, delays in resettlement from emergency housing.
